“Caloah Private Equity was spun-off from its origins as a family office to a more conventional structure, though the approach is quite different: no fees on committed capital, 50%+ proprietary capital.”

Caloah was founded on a core strength in entrepreneurship, differentiating itself from other investment managers through alignment with co-investors as partners. We pride ourselves in sharing wins with both our partners and our teams. As the saying goes, a rising tide lifts all boats. Our aim is to utilize our capital, strategic vision and operational expertise to build great companies, which in turn generate returns used for investment into the community at large. We seek partners that share our core values and are looking to grow their capital base under the pretext of truly responsible leadership at the forefront of their minds and brands.

Founded in 2015, Caloah Private Equity was spun-off from its origins as a family office and has evolved to become a more conventional private equity structure. While this structure is similar to other investment managers, our approach is quite different: no management fees on committed capital and a capital base that is at least 50% proprietary. We believe in aligning our interests with our partners, portfolio teams and internal investment managers – for the long term. By doing so, everyone pulls the ship in the same direction. Forward.

Investment returns that rise beyond numbers, empowering people to reach their full potential.

Aligning entrepreneurs and investors to transform businesses and build durable brands that generate strong returns on investment and to our community.

Corporate Responsibility

Investing in Human Capital

Since our beginnings as a family office, Caloah has anchored its community-giving philosophy in the importance of investing in people and building long-term relationships. Our team aligns itself with partners who work tirelessly to support families in the communities we serve, not only through continual financial contributions, but also through regular monthly volunteering. Philanthropy is a key tenet of Caloah’s fabric and is critical to the firm’s culture.

Whether they need assistance with childcare in order to attend an appointment or simply need time for self-care, Spectrum is there to support their wellbeing.
